I used this for the first time, and it was great. Having a constant read on the meat temp and the temp on my smoker was great. This thing is really a requirement for any extended smokes. Easy to use, set up, and maintain. I highly recommend it.

I have had mine for over a year and it works great. I use it with a WSM and have had no issues. Range is good as is accuracy. I hand clean the probes and so far, so good. I am getting one for my brother I like it so much. One thing that confused me at first was that you need to set the upper range first. If you do not, the lower range will not go above the default upper range. I would get one again - no doubt.

This is the best thermometer I have found for slow smoking. Just having the probe that clips on the rack to measure ambient temp is great, plus you can set it to alarm if the smoker temps go out of whack. I also like that the unit that the probes attach to is water proof, so if it rains a little you don't have to remove it (that's how I lost my old remote thermo). Only problems I have found is, the unit the probes attach to, you have to remove the battery cover to get it to communicate with the other unit.
